Dominio | Sectional Sofa

A story that began many centuries ago, in the beautiful Murge plateau in Puglia, where the great Frederick II erected his most imposing fortress, Castel del Monte. Since then, many things have changed, but the majesty of certain masterpieces continues to inspire our works, such as the Dominio sofa.

About

A story that began many centuries ago, in the beautiful Murge plateau in Puglia, where the great Frederick II erected his most imposing fortress, Castel del Monte. Padding

‍Backrest cushions have been padded entirely in 100% sterilised goose down. The filling comes in high-density polyurethane and 100% goose down encased in separate chambers.

About Lemans‍

This leather has natural grain with light buffed process and a very light translucent finish for color. The grain remains natural and full as it is not embossed nor buffed. Its main characteristics are the extremely soft hand, semi-matte look, and the touch slightly fat.

‍Protecta | This leather is layered with an invisible, protective film that guards against spills and stains.

‍

‍Care instructions:

Periodically dust with a clean, dry, and non-abrasive cloth. For stains: remove the stain quickly by dabbing with an absorbent cloth or paper. Then, delicately rub the stain working from the outside towards the center using a cloth soaked with water and mild-soap solution. Do not soak the leather and dry the surface immediately.

About the designer

Maurizio Manzoni

Maurizio Manzoni, born in Nuoro in 1967, graduated with a degree in Architecture in Florence in 1994 and in 1999 he was appointed Adjunct Professor at the University of Florence. His wide-range of work includes: Interior Architecture, Graphic Design, Stand Exhibitions, Fabric Design, and both interior and exterior Design for Motor Boats and Sailing Yachts. He founded StudioMEMO in Florence, in 2001. From the beginning his intention was to pursue a design philosophy that tackled in a meaningful way the issues related to contemporary living, trying to propose innovative solutions, always respecting the DNA of the companies with which it collaborates.
