Ploum | Medium Settee

Ploum settees are the fruit of much research into comfort. The result: a combination of two materials: a stretchable covering and ultra-soft foam. This combination, along with the Ploum's truly ample dimensions, provides extreme comfort and accommodates different ways of sitting, stretching out, or lying down.

About the designer

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec

Erwan (1976) and Ronan Bouroullec (1971) began working together in 1997. Their projects have produced both commercial and critical success. Projects include pieces commissioned by Vitra, Cappellini, Issey Miyake, Magis, Ligne Roset, Habitat and the Kréo Gallery. Their designs have been exhibited in many collective and solo exhibitions. Facett, designed for Ligne Roset in 2005, has confirmed their status as stars of the design world, with the armchair being named as an icon of our time.
